Celtic Ring - Oak Leaf - Bronze - 7th. - 4th. Century B.C.

This is an authentic Celtic ring made of bronze.

This ring has been dated to the seventh to fourth century B.C. thus making it between 2400 and 2700 years old!

Power of the Druids!!!

This ring was found at a site in Ancient Trace, whose Celtic tribes ruled supreme until being overcome by the might of Rome.

This ring has a nicely modeled bezel which is in the form of an "oak leaf" and has SUPERB detailing.

The bezel itself measures 15mm X 9mm and sits atop a very solid band of the 3/4 round variety.

This is one of the most SOLID example of this ring-type that I have EVER come across.

This example is at least 25% beefier than the typical example and this makes this ring a most rare example.

LOOK...at how realistically the ancient maker has captured the true essence of this leaf.

All of the lobes of the leaf are expertly modeled and the leaf even has the detail of the central rib and some of the leaf's veins still visible.

The oak tree was held sacred by almost all Celtic peoples throughout the history of their race.

Oak leaves and acorns are a recurring theme in much Celtic art and this ring is one of the finest examples of this style that you are ever likely to see, offered for auction.

The finish and color of this ring are superb and the bezel really catches the light.

The band of the ring is very strong with a silky feel, making this a substantial piece of Ancient Celtic jewelry.

This ring is Round & Sound and 100% wearable

This ring has a wonderful golden color to it with faint patina traces remaining.

This ring is slightly oval but fits a finger that's right about a size 8 1/2 or maybe a size 8 3/4 American.

It weighs 5.07 grams.

PLEASE NOTE:
This is NOT a copy of any kind. This is an authentic 2400 - 2700 year old piece!
